Toddlers Assistant

Objective: To assist classroom instruction each Sunday while building relationships with parents and children.

Supervisor: Toddlers Manager

Tasks:

  • Assists in preparation of lesson activities and curriculum

  • Reviews lesson material prior to Sunday morning

  • Attends Holy Huddle 30 minutes before teaching time

  • Welcomes all children and families and assists with lesson activities

  • Monitors behavior during lesson time

  • Early service assistant prepares classroom and late service assistant packs up classroom

  • Attends all Volunteer Celebrations

Expectations:

  • Term: 1 year renewable commitment

  • Time: 1 month scheduled on/off; 2 hours on a scheduled Sunday

  • Training: Sunday morning mentorship/shadowing

  • Spiritual Growth: Regular worship and growth group participation encouraged

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

  • Age Requirement: 12+ years old

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Signed confidentiality agreement

    • Background check for 18+ years old

    • T-shirt
