Parents: Can you imagine what it must have been like for Mary Magdalene to see the magnificent angel of the Lord and Jesus’ empty tomb? What an incredible scene! The angel shared the news, “He is not here; He has risen!” What glorious words to hear. We still rejoice about them today and forevermore!

Family Activity

Print the template included in the lesson link above. Cut tissue paper into small squares and glue them onto the cross. Make a mosaic pattern to cover the cross as a reminder that Jesus covers our sins by His death and we can rejoice that He has risen!
