Finding Joy & Security in Trust Based Relationships

Lesson for the Week

Parents:  Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, or strength of someone or something. We trust people closest to us, but that trust will be broken. Human beings aren't perfect—we all make relationship mistakes; no matter how we love each other. Through the story of Joseph, we see that although human relationships may fail, God never does. He can always be trusted.

Print the coloring sheet in the lesson activity or design your own colorful coat to represent the ornate robe Jacob gave to his son, Joseph. As you create, think about what you can trust God with this week. Write it along with Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

*Craft supplies are limited. Mailed packets for this lesson are only available during the month of August 2020.
