Lesson for the Week

Parents:  What’s your first response when faced with a difficult situation? As we know, children watch and model our words and actions. When a challenge comes our way and we lift our voice in prayer, it shows our kids that we trust our all-powerful God to help us through it. We learn about how the early Christians did just that in the Bible lesson for today.

Try a prayer doodle. To get started, you’ll find a template to download and print in the link above. Write a praise for God, a Bible verse, the name of someone you know who needs help, or ask for what’s on your heart. Pray to the Lord as you color and draw.
