Lesson for the Week

Parents:  When we walk in obedience to God, love Him, and serve Him with all of our heart and soul, there will be times when we have to stand up for God before others. Let’s take a look at the powerful lesson of Daniel and the lion’s den. Daniel loved God with all of his heart and was willing to die before he gave up praying, thanking, and asking God for help.

Family Activity

Let’s make a visual reminder to walk in love and obedience to the Lord.  Using a pencil draw an outline of your foot on card stock or use the template in the lesson link above. Cut it out. Take one pipe cleaner, bend it in half, twist the bent half about 1 ½ inches down. Poke three holes in the foot outline. String buttons on the pipe cleaner and fasten the pipe cleaner to the card stock by bending and taping the ends on the backside of the project. Finish the flip flop by writing how you plan to love, serve, and be obedient to God this week.
