Now more than ever we need strong and courageous men in our families, in the church, and in the world. And the most important kind of strength and courage that's needed is spiritual strength and courage. Joshua was leading the children of Israel into the Promised Land and would face many obstacles and challenges along the way. But the promise of God's presence (and the words and promises of God's inspired word, the Book of the Law) was with Joshua wherever he went.
